OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Fundraisers and Promotions are needed on an ongoing basis to
raise money for various aspects of all listed projects. This ranges
from funds needed to care and house injured wildlife in Playa
de Oro, Playa de Oro's school and teacher costs, funding for Sustainable
Food Projects in local communities, conservation education work,
and habitat protection. We encourage more groups and individuals
to get involved and help support our efforts to protect the Chocò
Rainforest. If you or your organization would be interested in
doing a fundraiser, please contact Tracy
Wilson for more information and promotional materials.
LIVE EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS
Santiago, a resident ocelot at Tracy Wilson's
federal and state licensed wildlife facility in the United States,
volunteers as an Ambassador for Touch The Jungle to educate the
public and raise funds for needed projects in Playa de Oro. Santiago,
an endangered species, was named in honor of the beautiful river
that flows through the Playa de Oro Reserve,
the Rio Santiago. If you would like Santiago to attend your event
to help promote and fundraise for our efforts, please contact
Tracy Wilson for
details. Plenty of advance notice is required to obtain all necessary
permits if required.
